Something else that makes me happy is meeting new friends and this past week I had the opportunity to meet a fellow creative team member in person for the first time. We had a blast!! If you have never had this chance I encourage you all to try to make this happen somehow - it's worth it!! Below is a page I made about the beginning of our wonderful new friendship using Lisa's new kit "Preppy Girl."
From that page I created a template for this month's template challenge. I seldom work backwards like that but I was working from an ad and thought either the ad or the page itself would be a good inspiration for you guys.
Where you see a circle, the ad had a sun. Where you see swirls, there was a lawn sprinkler and where there are flowers, the ad had lawn furniture. You can envision how I created substitutions.
Your challenge now is to take the template below and tweak it to fit your own needs. Turn, twist, substitute out something but make it your own page - still recognizable - but your own.
Create your page using Kandy Kane Creations products, upload to the gallery of your choice and post a link back here in the comments before March 15 and you will be eligible for a $5 gift certificate to Lisa's store.

ReplyDeleteWe added the zip file - I hope it was soon enough. I have no idea why it couldn't be recognized as a PSD file. I will check again and see if there is something that I'm doing that may be different.
